I don’t think they are really best companies to work for in Malaysia because currently i was doing a particular programme 2 day business course and International CEO Meeting from US call “Great Place to Work” which work out with Fortune to produce 100 Best Companies to Work For. I’d called up everyone of these companies directors, managers and leaders they seem no idea about the business benefits of becoming best place to work and a lot of Malaysia Companies are closed minded to accept foreign culture to enhance their organization to be great workplace. If you understand malaysia market trend you would be agreed with me on this issue. kindly log in to Fortune Website or http://www.greatplacetowork.com/ to find out the exact best companies to work for!

Well, this may be a list of “best” companies to work but I hope we don’t really take this list that seriously. Just follow your passion when you are still young, it is hard to do the thing that you will want to do when you are tied down by your family commitments and your financial commitments.

I’ve worked for some of the companies and I must say the best was Shell.

Best company to work for? do the company help their employees to balance their work and personal life?

  18. Serene on February 2nd, 2009 5:11 pm

Best Companies to Work in Malaysia…those listed above, how best also no use becos Malaysian’s managers/directors mindset, u r required to work as late as u can & if u working exactly 9-6pm, without giving extra hours, those bosses/directors will start criticise u. If bosses dont care what time u come to work as soon as u deliver the job on time but your seniors will not let u go so ez, they will start playing politics on u eventhough u r same dept with them. Company will not help employees to balance their work and personal life, they will be more delightful if u put all your life working with them without complaint anything. This is the way working in Malaysia. Too much employee in big company, will lead to many politics between employees. Working in small company sometimes even better than working in big company.
