Finally I’m managed to get Apple iPhone 16G as the first year 2009 TO BUY lists for myself. Probably you may ask me …. and I hope I can answer you.
Where do I get my Apple Iphone?
Australia Gold Cost.
How much?
Aussie $900, X 2.4 = 2160 Ringgit Malaysia.
Cheap? Tell me if you can get cheaper.
Contract?
NO contract.
Lock down?
Yes, it’s LOCK! I’m actually taking high risk if I can’t unlock myself.

Yes. It’s working fine and I’m just worry about my credit card details which I have to enter my credit card details insist of register with Apple iTunes. Damn! Apple business model!
What happen to existing phone contact?
Yes you can import your SIM contact or sync from Outlook contact, Google contact and etc.

hi i bought my iphone from OZ too and currently in malaysia, i have a problems with my contacts i copied them from sim card and some of them are with +60 and some of them are not. So at times i can see the person’s name when he/she is calling but at times not, depending on the number and person. Same problem with sms too. Have you encountered this problem? if u have how did u fix it?

2166 is a good price, the only place u can get it cheaper is probably NZ, and not much difference really. My old colleague who studied in NZ brought back almost 20 iphones so far, and she dont even sell them at a profit.
unlocking info is available online, that coupled with crazy maxis lock-in price should make those unlock iphone sellers richer this year.

No, you do not need to enter any credit card info.
The trick is to bring up the “Sign In/Register Apple ID” window by clicking the “Get App” button of any free application in iTunes.
You would get an option for “None” in payment (since it is free app), which the smart system would recognise this and eliminate the fields for credit card info.
