Halal Blood?

Today 14 June is a special day dedicated to celebrating and thanking voluntary non-remunerated blood donors. 14 June has been selected as World Blood Donor Day by three major organizations working for voluntary non-remunerated blood donation: the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the International Federation of Blood Donor Organizations and the International Society of Blood Transfusion.These organizations have been joined by the World Health Organization, which is co-sponsoring the event. Between them, they represent 192 Member States, 181 national Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, 50 national voluntary blood donor organizations and blood transfusion specialists throughout the world.
For the past 10 year, personally I did a few(I guess less than 10) times of blood donation. I know this is very little if used to compared to others. In the 8:00pm TV3 news just now, I know someone are donated about 4 to 5 times a year. Thanks again to blood donors, we’re really appreciated.
By the way, I’m just wondering whether Muslim can accept any blood(donated) from Chinese OR Indian. Is there any information that keep or marked during blood donation by who? Is that consider halal? We’re so sorry to bring up this non-sense question and we’re not try to bring up any religion issue here but I think this should be a good information to know. Does anyone have the answer, please let us know?

HI, YOU YOURSELF AS A BLOOD DONOR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN WHEN YOU FIRST DONATED BLOOD, IT WAS TO SAVE A LIFE AND IT COULD BE ANYONE’S LIFE IRRESPECTIVE OF RACE,RELIGION OR CREED.
DID YOU EVER WONDER WHAT WOULD A DOCTOR DO IF HE ONLY HAD ONE LAST AND ONLY BAG OF NON-MUSLIM BLOOD WHICH WILL BE ABLE TO SAVE A MUSLIM’S LIFE?
I AM CERTAIN THE DOCTOR WILL STAND BY THE HIPPOCRATIC OATH HE TOOK AND GIVE THAT VERY LAST AND PRECIOUS BAG OF BLOOD@GIFT OF LIFE TO THE MUSLIM IF THE BLOOD GROUPING MATCHES.

BY THE WAY I AM A NATIONAL BLOOD DONOR TOO. I AM DOING THIS ONLY BECAUSE I AM MOTIVATED BY LOVE AND COMPASSION FOR ALL FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS.
