I had in addition a problem. I could configure a ica connection, but i couldn’t start the connection. The wfcmgr-program says only “Cannot load font”, if i start it on the commandline. A look in the x-server log told me, that I had some wrong paths in the file “/etc/X11/xorg.conf”. The paths should be “/usr/share/fonts/X11/”. In my xorg.conf were some fonts in the section “Files” with the wrong path “/usr/share/X11/fonts/”. I thing it is, because i update my Ubuntu from a older version, as Gutsy.

You find a smarter (but german ) version of the resulotion in my blog http://blog.purrucker.de/2008/02/04/installation-eines-ica-clients-106-unter-ubuntu-710/

    Hi,

I had an ica client 10.6 with citrix ps 4.5 and it’s ran bad.

I know there are a bug with this two versions, and it’s run good with the version of ica client 9.X but now I don’t find it.

Can you help me? Do you have this version of ica client?

    Thanks for all

Worked like a charm – thanks a bunch! I have x386 32-bit gusty gibbon and I used 10.6 Client. It worked through Firefox too.

I found in the meantime miscellaneous upgraded Gusty Gibbon installations with wrong paths for the fonts in the file “/etc/X11/xorg.conf”. It must be a bug in the upgrade-procedure. Other x-programms have no problems, but the ica-client do not start, if there a wrong font-path in the file “/etc/X11/xorg.conf”.

I never see this problem on new installed ubuntus.
