iGoogle (Why Six Tabs)
Posted on June 3, 2007
I’m a fans of iGoogle for the past few months and I’m still enjoy the iGoogle features. I did introduce and suggest to few of my colleagues and friends, but not everyone like it. See here, this is one of my friend posted that he doesn’t like it .
Personally I used 6 tabs(’Home’, ‘Weather’, ‘Technology’, ‘Linux’, ‘Windows’ & ‘Security’) in my iGoogle page but seriously this is not enough. Hey Mr. Google, please add more tab.
You may refer to Lifehacker and Google Tutor create iGoogle Tab tips.
When you have 6 tabs in iGoogle, the existing “add a tab” will go missing. So what happen if you wanna delete the existing tab in iGoogle?
To delete a tab, click on the tab to bring it into focus, click on the tab’s name, then click on the word “delete” that appears next to the tab’s name. Please look at images show as below:

Please note that if you delete a tab, you’ll also remove any gadgets on that tab. If you’d like to keep any of those gadgets, we suggest you move them to another tab before deleting the unwanted tab.
