The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Travel Fair 2008 is coming soon again in March.

Date: 14 -16 March 2008
MATTA FAIR 2008 will comprise of Halls 3, 2 & 1 with over 860 Booths available. The designation of the Halls are as follows:
HALL 3: DOMESTIC / ASEAN / TRAVEL RELATED PRODUCTS & SERVICES / SPECIAL CATEGORY GROUP/ NTOs
HALL 2 & 1: INTERNATIONAL PACKAGES / AIRLINES/CRUISES / NTOs
Hall 3 will have a direct access. Halls 2 & 1 will also have direct access via Jalan Ipoh as well as excess via Hall 3.
In Halls 2 & 1, we have allocated a total of 6 designated Premium Areas for exhibitors taking a minimum of 20 booths. Please see attached floor plans and the terms and conditions in bidding for these 6 Premium Areas (please refer to clause C 1 of the Rules & Regulations).
Any plan where to go this year? Domestic or International travel? For me, I'm plan to go Korea this year. Probably you should plan your holiday by now and grab the cheapest holiday package during Matta Fair!

Usually the traveling peiod till the next MaTTA FAIR 09 ie March 2009 however some offers extended beyond March 2009 .

Korean Tourism Association coming to MATTA FAIR PWTC 5/6/7 Sept collaborating with international exhibitors in Hall 2 & 1 . Please come to the Fair and enjoy your Korean choices.. The entrance to Hall 1 is from Jln Ipoh. The fair open from 9am to 10pm.

I have booked a trip to Phuket at RM169/person. The Agent also booked the airasia ticket on line for me on the spot. I have made full payment for 2 persons on the spot. But after I left the counter, they called me to inform that the actual fare is RM269/person as travelling date is on Nov and not Oct.
I told them that if I know that fare is RM269, I will not take the offer. Now since I have already booked the airasia ticket, what can I do? I feel cheated. The airticket cost for 2 is RM823.
My question is can I not paid the difference as they have already issue me a receipt which stated full payment ? Or can I ask for refund for the RM358 that I have paid to them?
