My office [tag]ADSL[/tag] [tag]Broadband[/tag] - Maxis iLink was down more than 16 hours .

We ‘re actually make a report yesterday because of unusual (up and down) internet connection. Immediately [tag]Maxis[/tag] technician went to my office this morning. After a while this “joker” told my colleague it’s the ADSL modem problem and went back. My colleague informed me about the situation but I can’t believe adsl modem problem, we can easyly access to adsl modem and the adsl connection was there. (too bad I was not there before joker went back). I’m really cannot ‘tahan’ without internet connection.

Ok fine! Let me check myself. After some trouble shooting I found the funny think is I can ping another office unit - ‘public IP’ (Maxis Broadband as well) which mean I have internet connection but I can’t ping www.google.com, www.yahoo.com or else. What happen to Maxis Broadband?

I Call Maxis Help Desk support again and they told us that they few customers having the connection problem as well and the technicina still checking on it. They also promise to solve the problem within 48 hours (ehhm same as another broadband provider - tmnut) .

During that time, we have received few call from Maxis Help Desk for helping reset our adsl modem but no matter how still NO LUCK! But I’m appreciate with their help. The services and technical knowledge are much more better than TMNET Streamyx help desk. Work Hard please TMNET.

I went to another office unit for another round of test, I did a traceroute for 2 different IP address which 1 is my office IP and another 1 is the curect one. Hmm I’m sure this must be their routing / router problem somewhere.
HELP! Please fix for me ASAP.
