I just received a SMS from Maxis as detail below:

Free msg, You’re just rcvd a [tag]FREE[/tag] [tag]ringtone[/tag] (Where’d U Go by Fort Minor) from myMAXIS myFREE CampA010D! Want a free download each week? just send OK to 27800 now!


Is this really FREE? This is a Promotion or [tag]SPAM[/tag] from [tag]Maxis[/tag]?

Anyway I don’t care about this [tag]SMS[/tag] and I will just ignore :)

    it is not free at all. u will be charged 30cents per sms you received from 27800. what a scam!!

    Please make sure to report to the Maxis Center/MCMC if you receive a SCAM message from the 27800 services. You will be charged even though you not subscribe. You will be also charged for every month!
