Hope this is not too late. Yes what you buy for your lover? We went to Digital Mall Section 14 Petaling Jaya today and I bought a [tag]Nintendo[/tag] [tag]DS[/tag] Lite for my wife. It cost me RM730.00 for 1 Nintendo DSL, 1 R4 Card(I will get a supercard later) and 1G memory card. Anyway, I purchased an additional essential kit which is included 1 leather pouch, 1 set of screen protector, 1 USB cable & 1 standard stylus and cost me RM55.00. Again, if you pay by [tag]credit card[/tag], there is additional 2.5% charges. The shop offer me 1 year warranty, 20+ game pre-install and unlimited free game exchange install next visit. Previously I checked with another shop which required RM5 , RM8 or RM10 per game install. The original DS game can easily cost more than RM100 but I think I can download free online. For sure. you will compare [tag]Sony[/tag] [tag]PSP[/tag] & Nintendo DS Lite. Why buy NINTENDO DS Lite? It's simple, because my wife like it

is ee u have bought a nds lite. good for u. however i was wondering this question in my mind for a year. CAN NDS LITE GO ONLINE FOR WEB BROWSING? i am been to many shops in Ipoh which is from Yik Fong Complex to Kinta City Complex and some say it can without any gadgets add on and some say it will need a supercard or additional card to be used into its provided slot. Now, i am really confused and i have not been able to purchase it(waiting patiently) to see whether NDS Lite has the web browsing capabilities as such in PSP. Could you help me with this as i saw a pic or logo on this website stating u can go web browsing with NDS! Now is that NDS or NDS Lite? Pls do reply to my email? thank you.

well, nintendo ds is a nice thing to own with….i just wan answer a person who ask can nintendo ds browser a web. sure it can by dealing with WIFI service. just need to add on the ip address and active it with like how u do in ur laptop or desktop..
Nintendo ds sure own alot fun than psp due nintendo ds alot game can play on9. u can listen song and watch movie too …if u wan play cheat with ur nintendo ds hope u can get a action replay. this stuff is nicer than R4 base system. R4 just let u play illegal game sumtime if u dun have original game card.
anyway. if u like japanese game or on9 game like pokemon diamond and pearl, bleach, and so on that related to japanese game we may be can play on9 2gther sumtime. hope u all like my comment.

well, thanks a lot. i am going to buy soon but however i heard of this new M3 cards which allows ppl to go online but it requires a certain setting to do so. this M3 cards has video playback capabilities and i can get it with the NDS for 730. it contains 8gb memory card(i forgot which type) and has a one year original manufacturers warranty as the M3 card does not require the user to open and modify the NDS in any other way. is it ok?
sungei wang sell nds lite cheap at least 350 just the console (last time i checked the price was around july-november of last year!!) r4 no good its software is kind of behind, only support up to 4GB, m3 simply can support 8GB i think while the latest m3 ds real can support up to 32GB!!! check out the website yourself google for m3 ds real official website! the m3 ds real also provide a rumble ram pack for extra ram for internet browsing, wifi gameplay, etc etc.For the internet browser try google for beuup(or sumthink its homebrew=made by a 3rd party) its for internet browsing plus you can use msn and yahoo messenger!
How much is just R4 only ?
well, in malaysia at sungei wang of cuz… not dat cheap its around 220++! i suggest you get the latest one(m3 ds simply/m3 ds real) bcuz r4 hav lots of problem… try xtreme-spot.com they sell all this stuff (r4, m3 ds simply ,m3 ds real, etc etc) they’re located at indonesia, the shipment price+the r4 i think less then 200.

uhmm i say get an r4! its better! but u hav to do sum research n stuff u know like u gotta download the web browser patch it etc etc! then u could watch movies listen to mp3 (4 words:multimedia player+awesom games!!)

i say at low yatt last week. i think its the 2nd or third floor. its kinda like a small counter with lots of NDS and PSP stuff. the guy was selling to me an original NDS set(white coulour, sad) with 1 year original warranty plus m3 card (sorry forgot got rumble pack or not) and 8gb card. i believe no games include but he said he will charge me 5 bucks for 10 games. the whole set came to 730. he said could negotiate if interested. kinda bargain.
may i know excatly how much is nintendo DS Lite? and the things that we need to buy. I’m kinda confuse. I want to get one but i’ve been think quite for a long time whether its reasonable
well, in ipoh it would cost about 7 plus to 800 in which it depends on the accessories and demands for ur nds. but in kl it should not cost much more than this. my pick to buy is low yatt which i have state in my previous comment. if u wanna be more sure, check it online for the recent prices. i usually check prices at major supermarkets and compare as they sell at street prices and i use these prices at reference to determine. the latest i checked out is 550 for original set only. no mods or add ons.

well, if the market price would be 550-599 for an original, it should be at least 10% below those price. the max lowest would be around 30%-40% lower in klang i guess. do bear in mind its just the console, no add ons.
well………..hwo bout the games? is the games like gameboy advance veri expensive
well, u can basically download from internet and save it into ur memory card to play which is far cheaper cause it is FREE! they will be people selling these games at bundle packs of 10 or even singular titles download from the net. if you want to purchase the ori stuff in which i support so NDS games can come out with better ones in future through this sales are sold a bit expensive which cost around 50 to 100 plus. sometimes, i even saw it in night markets too!!!

I have ask in my leisure mall ds lite RM700 including 1gb sony memory and games. Izit worth it? I am planning to get a dslite but i am stil nu in this kinda stuff.. Any guidance.
Well, I have seen it there too but i was really worried when they said 1GB sony memory………..I thought the card provided runs on MMC or SD types? maybe I am a bit outdated but for RM700, I could get a better deal at Low Yatt than tat.

Well, R4 is like a card that allows you to play NDS games from a memory card that has its games. it is like gameshark you have in PS but in a card mode. however, nowadays i dun think R4 is popular since with the entry of more better gadgets and code breaking softwares in the market. Nowadays, the price of NDS should be aroun RM700 plus and not more than RM800. if you can get it below is better. Usually it will come with R4 card with a few GB of memory card. Some come with pre-installed games and some charge for the games. You should consider what deal or packages they are giving and whether is it worth it or not. My worth deal is a M3 card with 8GB memory card and casing to protect plus some free stylus. More over, if the sales person can provide free games 100+ will be a great advantage. Currently i had try emulator and play psp,ps3,nds game and others as well, Nds latest is coming with antenna which can watch tv, i have that programmed that can view astro as well and others… can call international or local free, hmm… but now the problem is where is the cheapest price include all the things together. Anyone bought nds and include earphone b4? For R4 my brother bought it was ok, but not with picture (older R4) anyone suggestion?

just recently sold of my psp for RM 400 bucks and got a nintendo ds lite. RM 700. with R4 2GB card.
the tv add on was released in japan. if u search on ebay there are a few of those selling for a few hundred ringgit. if someone can check if it can receive malaysian channel?
i am well pleased with my ndsl. hehe. granted the graphics can’t compare to a psp but the variety of games available are enormous. plus file size much smaller to psp cso’s. so rather than pay to install games just search the net and u can probably find the roms online.

R4 cost £16 in UK means less then RM100. DS cost £100 means RM500 if use air mail cost £12 add up total is £130 = RM650 for full set.

Wow in malaysia DS Lite is cheaper compared to Germany. Here the DS Lite is EUR 139 (EUR 670 basic). I just bought a DSi in white for EUR169 (without free stuff – RM820) and a 4GB SD card for EUR13 (RM60).. and i love it.
Ill be moving back to Malaysia soon, tak sabar. Is the DSi out yet in KL? or do u know when it is out?
just got mine from kl (petaling street area) the whole set cost me RM 600 – THE CONSOLE IS ABOUT RM550… need new battery charger though… mine is for japan/us. duh.

not really, actually is depends on yourself, since NDS is able to play many games, and it was fun too, NDSI can use camera, slimmer, and can have tv tuner wifi and is fun too, just depends.
