Nvu in Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty?

We’re just noticed that latest Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty came without NVU(pronounced N-view).
What is NVU?
A complete Web Authoring System for Linux desktop users as well as Microsoft Windows and Macintosh users to rival programs like FrontPage and Dreamweaver. Nvu (which stands for “new view”) makes managing a web site a snap. Now anyone can create web pages and manage a website with no technical expertise or knowledge of HTML.
After google and we found the solution here.
Download a NVU .deb package here, install with command “sudo dpkg -i nvu_1.0final-0bpo1_i386.deb” and it worked.
Why we need a NVU? To make our life easy & job easy to update my little HTML code on one of the project, we’re prefer to use NVU. It’ pretty simple and user friendly. You can give it a try ![]()

Nvu wasn’t under active development, so it was removed from Feisty repos. A project called Kompozer aims to continue the development of Nvu:

KompoZer is broken, cos it uses Qt, and Qt shall never evet be used in production environments.
