Oracle on Linux
Today is my first time trying [tag]Oracle[/tag] on [tag]Linux[/tag]. I have download the Oracle [tag]Database[/tag] 10g Release 2 installation zip file (> 600 MB), It took me more than an hour for download with home TMNET Streamyx plus Download Accelerator Plus yesterday night.
Since this is just for development or testing purpose, I use to installed Oracle Database 10g Release 2 on my [tag]Vmware[/tag] Workstation running on top of my Microsoft Windows XP machine.
Frankly I have no experience on Oracle before, I think this is my opportunity to start picking up my Oracle in my working office.
