Yeah! I found a SVNManager bug today.

I was using [tag]SVNManager[/tag] since last year for managed my [tag]Subversion[/tag]. And today I found a [tag]bug[/tag].

This morning my colleague asked me to change permission in one of the [tag]repositories[/tag], but after I changed the permission the screen give me “blank screen”. What happen? What is that?

Before solving the first problem, another colleague told me that he just create a new repositories but he couldn’t access it.

Weird! After check for a while, I found ‘accessfile’ is not update and ‘/var/log/message’ show error message: ‘httpd: Database inconsistent, can’t find user that has privilege’.

I tried to restart my [tag]Apache[/tag] and [tag]MySQL[/tag] but no luck. Check the MySQL permission and repair MySQL_svnmanager table but still no help. After few tried and tried but also can’t find any solution. This time I need someone help. I post a question in SVNManager forum. After a while, Marijn Verkerk – the creator of SVNManager reply me a message. Yeah I found a bug!

Mr. Marijn managed to solved my problem and immediately he release SVNManager version 0.38.

I feel luck and thank to Marijn Verkerk for creating great open source tools :)
