Installing VMWare ESX server within VMWare Workstation 6
You may know I have personal desktop and office desktop installed VMware ESX 3.x wthin VMware Workstation 6. Probably you would like to know how can I'm do it.

How to install Oracle VM in VMware Workstation
[tag]Oracle VM[/tag] was official released on Nov 12 2007 last month. Oracle VM is server virtualization software that fully supports both Oracle and non-Oracle applications, and is three times more efficient than other server virtualization products. Backed by Oracle's world-class support organization, customers now have a single point of enterprise-class support for their entire virtualization environments, including the Linux operating system, [tag]Oracle[/tag] Database, Fusion Middleware, and Application software. Oracle unveiled its Oracle VM hyper visor based on Xen open source hypervisor.

Getting the Oracle VM
To get the Oracle VM files do to the following:
- Go to http://edelivery.oracle.com/oraclevm and click continue download; you will be taken to the Oracle distributes sites.
- Fill in the registration, search for Oracle VM or follow the prompts on the screen for download.
- Unzip the Oracle VM zip file (you will see the Oracle VM ISO file later)

VMware ESX, iSCSI testing on my desktop
In my early posted about my new toy – Intel Dual-Core 3.00GHz, 8G RAM, 250 GB HDD Precision 490 desktop in office finally utilized with high load.
Basically I have Windows Vista 64 bit Enterprise, Firefox 3 Beta 1, VMware Workstation 6, VMware ESX, Openfiler iSCSI, Fedora 8 and Windows 2003 Server running on top of the box. For the memory allocation, each OS dedicated to 512 MB and each VMware ESX dedicated to 1GB ram memory.
In my VMware Workstation 6 setup, I have Fedora 6, Openfiler, 2 Windows 2003 Server, 2 VMware ESX 3.01 servers and 3 Windows 2003 server virtual machines running on top of my VMware ESX servers.

Install Fedora Core 6 with Vmware Workstation Version 5.5.x
