The way to KLIA
Posted by Planet Malaysia on January 1, 2007
I used a new road to Kuala Lumpur International Airport(KLIA) today. This new road save time and save money!
Drive from Puchong and turn into the road that signboard show Cyberjaya/Putrajaya instead go to the KLIA way. You have to pay RM1.60(no more RM1.00 after 1 Jan 2007) Bandar Bukit Puchong LDP toll(the only one toll). Follow the Cyberjaya signboard -> Putrajaya signboard -> Dengkil signboard -> Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi signboard, then you will see one traffic light and just go straight until you reach a death highway link. You have to keep left and turn right. Go straight and you will see a mosque infront of the traffic light. Please turn left and you will reach a round about which you see a signboard turn to LCCT and KLIA Terminal. Just use 12:00 o’clock or follow the terminal signboard until you reach the KLIA.
Yeah! That’s simple. Just paid RM1.60 toll and I can reach there about 25 minutes with 110km/h speed.

earl-ku,
I suspect you went on the old dengkil trunk road. The new toll-free highway mentioned in this blog is called “Putrajaya-Cyberjaya Expressway” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Putrajaya-Cyberjaya_Expressway). It was opened to traffic in mid Dec 2006.
