TNB Power Failure at Cyberjaya
The TNB power break down at the main 33kv substation around 15:50 - 16:35 yesterday(Thursday March, 22 2007) at Cyberjaya.
This is my first time experience having the [tag]power[/tag] [tag]failure[/tag] since working in [tag]Cyberjaya[/tag], [tag]Malaysia[/tag]. I feel so shy to TNB because this problem shouldn’t happen in main IT hub(MSC Center) in Malaysia especially in Cynerjaya. They are so many data center, call center, IT hubs, MNC company located in Cyberjaya.
I guess every company should have genset or UPS as a standby, the 30 minutes down time can easyly cost more than a million. I hope TNB can avoid and solve the problem.

I agree with the suggestion for the company to have their own back-up system for the power.Even though all buildings in Cyberjaya have gen-set as back-up, I was told that they are only for the common areas.
