Will you switch to Ubuntu?
Have you read an interesting article at [tag]Slashdot[/tag] - Ubuntu to Bring About Red Hat’s Demise today?
Do you agree with this article Why [tag]RedHat[/tag] will go bust because of [tag]Ubuntu[/tag]?
Personally, I not really agreed with this (for the time being).
I used to managed more than 20 RHEL servers, I used FC4 for my office desktop and Ubuntu for my laptop. Yes, I agreed Ubuntu desktop is much more better than [tag]Fedora[/tag] but not strong in server. I’m not even try any Ubuntu Server yet
Redhat has a very good presence in the server market. I don’t think my company will switch to Ubuntu in the short period or maybe they won’t. We’re are happy with Redhat server performance, stability and etc.

Ubuntu is the new mac. Because of that a lot of people think it has to be the best thing since sliced bread. I’ve used Ubuntu a few times. But I’m no fan of Gnome. And Kubuntu’s KDE doesn’t cut it when compared to the one in Suse. When compared to FC and Suse, it seems less configurable.
