XGL worked on my Ubuntu

Last wednesday I went to The Official Launch of Suse 10 – Your Linux is Ready! at Hilton Hotel KL.
After look at the Suse enterprise desktop 10 demostration, I was wonder how can I make my laptop – Ubuntu Dapper running XGL.
Yes! I found a great tutorial here and here.
Follow a few simple steps and it’s worked but it’s running too slow on my laptop. XGL alone take more than 70% on CPU load.
